Our off-grid wooden hut Primrose is nestled on the woodland edge, where you'll hear the babbling of the brook. Here you'll have the opportunity to step away from the daily stress of life and step into the relaxed pace of nature's rhythm.

Primrose is cute! She is well insulated, so keeping warm won't be an issue. Inside you'll find:

A comfortable double bed (all bedding provided - just bring a towel)

There's a two-ring gas cooker, all the plates, pots, cutlery, etc. that you'll need. There is no fridge or tapped water

Plenty of storage space

A dining table

Solar-powered outlets: two USB sockets and a 3-pin socket for appliances up to 300w (ideal for phones and laptops)

A wood-burning stove to keep you snug at night
The nitty-gritty
Primrose is comfortable, cosy and totally immersed in nature. The compost toilet is a 3-4 minute walk away.

Just 2-minutes' walk away, at the Wonky Wood Store, you'll find the communal washing-up sink next door to our quirky wood-fired shower (eco products provided). There is also a dedicated tap for filtered drinking water from Satori's very own spring!

Here's what you need to know:

No loud parties.

A certain level of fitness is needed as there is no vehicle access to your pitch. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the car park to Primrose.

The small village of Churchinford is within walking distance (approximately 1.9 miles), home to an English country pub, post office and community shop with Wi-Fi.

At Satori we offer the glade and woodland for a maximum of 12 guests at any one time. Primrose is found nestled in one corner of the glade and Daisy yurt (which sleeps 4) is on the opposite side, about 100-meters away. There may also be campers who make up the numbers. As a retreat, guests often choose to be here for time alone. Please be respectful of their privacy and personal space.
